Ayre CX-5xe Evolution CD player upgrade

I first heard The Upgrade Company's handy work when a friend loaned me his upgraded Magnum Dynalab MD-108 tuner. Having owned one for many years prior to selling to fund a HiFi upgrade, I was very surprised by how much better this was over the stock unit.  I jumped at the opportunity to buy the upgraded MD-108 when my friend decided to sell it, and this continues to be my pride and joy. More recently I heard an Upgrade Co upgraded Oppo BDP-83SE Blu-ray player.  Impressed, I decided to send my Ayre CX-5xe CD player to them for their Signature Edition upgrade. The Ayre CX5e Evolution's sound I know very well.  When I got the unit back the new sound was excellent straight out of the box.  Much more dynamic.  Bass is much tighter and deeper.  There is much more detail and layering in the soundstage. The upgrade added resolution that is very fluid.  I can recommend this upgrade to all Ayre CX-5xe owners out there.
